🧡 OUR MOST IMPORTANT FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR 🧡

This is one of the most important fundraisers we run; one where we can make a HUGE, long-term difference in the community in Romania 🇷🇴

Did you know…
🐶 Just ONE unspayed female dog and her offspring can produce up to 67,000 puppies in just SIX years
🐱 In just SEVEN years, a cat and her offspring can produce 370,000 kittens

These animals end up on the streets; starving, abused, and neglected. Many are then picked up by dog catchers and taken to kill shelters.

Shelters like Barlad Public Shelter, which just published a kill list, are overcrowded and heartbreaking. Dogs are forced to compete for food, often living in terrible conditions, frightened and mistreated 💔

As much as we fight every day to rescue and rehome, we must also tackle the root cause; overbreeding.

It’s not a life for an animal to be born into suffering, only to be killed because there are simply too many 😞

Our spay campaign will start in May, in collaboration with the local council where Scooby’s Association is based, and our amazing vet Malina from MaboVet, who will be carrying out as many procedures as possible with the funds we raise 🩺🐾
